Audition Time!

ID-10036168

It’s audition time all over Australia for students interested in courses in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre (the ‘triple threat’). There are many options for budding performers and navigating the application process can be overwhelming. Each institution has it’s own set of requirements and application processes, and to miss a step is to miss out on an opportunity.

For school age students who might be in their final year of compulsory education, there are folios to complete and exams to prepare for, and this is all going on at the same time as having to submit applications for auditions to performing arts academies and university courses. It is quite a juggling act, believe me! Just when you think you’ve done all of your homework, there’s a monologue to learn.

I have done extensive work in preparing students in this process. I have investigated the most reputable institutions; have visited most of them across Australia, and have even spent time exploring the best of the international courses. If it’s Broadway or the West End you have in your sights, there are visa considerations, and if you’re keen to attend an American College there are SATs to study for.
