Another Movie Must

Hi again,

I’m going to post this now as I’m pretty sure the movie I am about to suggest should be in the dvd stores by now. It’s called, “Intouchables”.

It is the true story of an unemployed young man who applies for a position at the private home of wheelchair bound wealthy Frenchman. The only reason he goes for the job is to prove to the benefits department that he’s trying to get work, and thereby receive his state benefits. Bizarrely, and much to his surprise, the unemployed young man, who completely lacks qualifications or experience for the position (that of physical carer), is offered the job.

Don’t be put off when I tell you it is a subtitled movie. It really doesn’t matter as it’s really not heavy on dialogue and it so funny and engaging. It’s the kind of movie that makes you smile, and it also tells you that something completely random can occur in your life and provide real meaning and joy.

Popcorn optional, chocolate always a must!
